hmmm...I don't have anything on my system except steam. I bought it only for steam. I have different systems with different purposes.

i tried allthat recomended stuff. then contacted steam and got respond "we cant find any suspicius instances runing on your pc"
so only thing left to do is format , im gona comeback with answers.

I am not using any of the softwares...my system is 100% clear. I've already mentioned that this system I am using is only for steam, nothing else (not even the movies).
The game was running fine and than this happened and I only love two games, Dota 2 and Dark Souls. I am so frustrated with this VAC problem. I think I should rely on the support of ' whistling in the dark '. LOL!

then restart steam also don't edit any notepad + on the dota 2 files or instant vac ban.
vac ban is now linked to phone number, if someone used your phone number and got vac ban than.....
well I don't even use the notepad but yeah, a +point in my knowlegde. Also, I'll see if my phone number is there. Thanks sooo much you two!

u need to start 64 bit dota.exe file and vac willbe no more

if u click find match and u get this note that theres whatever the fug vac issues there is option to close that or more info
Try running steam as administrator, and unchecking all the boxes for dota DLC, dota DLC includes the OpenGL support for windows, Vulkan support, Dota 2 Reborn beta etc, happened to me as well above method worked for me.

no @bukkae it worked fine by unchecking dota 2's extra boxes like dota reborn beta for me.
and the one who said that phone number will ban you but it will not and will restrict you from playing ranked.

dont start dota like u normal do
go on c:programfilesx86/steam/steamapps/common/game/dota/bin/win64
find dota exe file and start it there

Damn! Nothing is working..it did worked well for few days twice and than happened again as soon as the new update came in. It got blocked twice just after the game updated.
If you are sure that you didn't do something to warrant a VAC then you should probably try your best to contact steam support or valve support for that, also have you tried using your account on other computers? does it still have the VAC issue when you use it on other computer?
I did and yes I did contact both Steam and Valve for that issue. They showed me some methods but it didn't work, than some professionals asked me to put this on dotabuff's general discussions. They told me that only someone who has been through this problem may give me the solutions. And yes I didn't do anything stupid, I'm a cautious player. Valve didn't gave me a reply though. Too busy I guess ;) They told me that even a famous player by the name "SunsFan" had this issue for a long time.

I'm having trouble with finding match in dota 2, it says that my VAC is blocked. I have tried almost every method mentioned on the internet. I've unistalled than installed both dota 2 and Steam, did the cmd thing, steam service from the run menu (windows+R), validitate Dota 2 files, opened steam through 'run as administrator', restarted my pc and so on. I don't even have any of the other applications like CC cleaner, etc as mentioned in steam community. My system is 100% clear. All I know is that it started happening since the last dota 2 update.
I'd be really happy to have a kind response. I would appreciate it.
