a star search is pretty much like dijstra except u add a heuristic on top of the pure cost of getting from node a to b, the heuristic is supposed to naturally lead the algorithm towards the goal (an easy heuristic could be air distance).
i wrote a small program thats supposed to visualize a* search in a m x n grid, i use manhattan distance as my distance from start (0,0) to goal (19,19). the program randomly adds wall all over the place to make it harder for the algorithm.
red: final path, grey: nodes that have been explored/considered (similar to dijkstra i guess), black: wall
my question basically is whether u believe my algorithm is expanding too many nodes. it looks pretty odd to me; but im unsure
i dont know i guess idubbbz thinks his take is fresh/important/interesting enough to warrant a video on itself or something
or mb he doesn't care since the channel is in comatose state and hes getting no money out of youtube and has probably moved on

i'd assume the sum of k^2 from 1 to n grows slower than n^4, so it will be convergent against 0, but idk where to go from here and idk how i could reshape the term to show that
one of them also loves to chat with some thot(who is also like 15 i think), or there are several, idk+idc, and of course it has to be @ like 12am when every1s trying to sleep
i especially like how he lowers his voice because "people are trying to sleep" as if it helps that he talks sligthly quieter over otherwise total silence of the room
