Haven't tried it however, I would still think grabbing your farming items would still be more effective.
if youre fine getting into LP DIY. Ive experimented with builts, heroes and so on and once people see something new they'll report you or flame you as hard as possible or they wont play serious or theyll make stupid items themselves because u did.
yeah people tend to do that if u cant justify your build. like experimenting for the cause of just experimenting belongs in single draft or at least unranked.
Veil is quite an awful item after they removed the 6 armor and health regen. If you want a little more damage output consider yasha and kaya instead. It gives 14% spell amp. Other than that no other items increase magical damage output, so just go for defensive items.
Veil isnt awful but for sure worse now they made basilius more exxpensive. But if u make that item id say its better as a support because buying it to amplify only your own dmg isnt enough. Also con of getting it as support is like when u have it maybe u get it off in 2 teamfights then enemy cores already have bkb..
Get treads and diffusal and goes Topson TI9. Srsly though, veil is pretty good, but then again, you couldn't fully utilizes it as it should be. E-blade however is much scarier, with a rather expensive trade off.
veil is just not good item, even if u want to build spell damage, but it makes no sense to build spell damage when you can go aghs satanic

Since the game has become more snowbally i began to have sucesss (again) with Gyro, so i thought: why not build veil on gyro and try to presure the game as early as possible.
Might work? (didnt tested)
