i always play support... and playing support is fun when your carry and mid knows what to do when they see you walking behind the enemy.. and you dont have to say anything and just ping the enemy and you core already know what he should do
a successful gank is always fun for me.... i never stay in lane for too long im always hungry for a kill.. thats why i dont play carry its kinda boring
Hello my naem is Freindly Prayer and i likr to carry. Thats why i seay carr id better than support. Aldo carry moer fun u kill creeps and hereos once in 10 mineutes.
No joke
I agree support is boring. But If u think support is about just pulling creeps and babysitting behind your carry, it's no wonder u think it's boring. And I pity your carry.
you complain about your bracket bcz they don't know simple things like offlane and roamer and mid and carry in 2.7k mmr bracket.
you don't know about the level of the toxicity and cancer at 4k mmr bracket. things is different and its level of toxicity and cancer is tenfold than 2.7k mmr bracket (close to 3k bracket)
There are a few main problems in lower MMR games and it all builds on itself. First of all, people don't like to play support, if they did, you'd see 5 support lineups and not 5 core lineups. People want to be the "super hero" and stomp the other team, so they resort to farming all game, don't push, gank, etc. and play it like an RPG.
Also, people suck at last hitting, which means it's going to take longer for them to get all the items they need. This makes the game typically last longer, so the hard carry types are going to be more successful then. Part of supporting also means you're increasing your early game advantage -- ganking early in game, wards so your cores don't get ganked (but they ignore minimap), stack ancients so a core can get a quick boost of gold. Unfortunately, that extra 800-1000 gold to a core around the 10-15 minute mark isn't going to be super effective since he's going to go straight back to farming 24/7.....whereas better players, correct me if I'm wrong, use that gold as a power spike to complete their next item so they can go fight, gank, push, etc.
Similar concept applies to killing roshan as well as ganking. After killing roshan or being successful on a gank, people go back to their 24/7 jungle farm, when what you should be doing is trying to extend your advantage and push a tower. There's nothing worse than being in the 30-40 minute mark of a game, killing 3-4 enemy heroes, then your team doesn't want to push, instead they go buy items and/or regen because they 'only' have 75% hp.
On top of all that, cores aren't going to be making the better decisions in low skill games and their mechanics aren't great, either. Even if/when you give your team an advantage, it's likely they're just going to get caught out of position. It's not like the saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but can't make it drink." It's more like, "You can try to drag a brain dead and dehydrated horse to water, but it'll just end up drowning instead of drinking the water."
In conclusion, in low skill games supporting isn't as effective because you ultimately need your cores to be able to play properly. Players are bad at last hitting, making the games last longer, rewarding players for picking 4-5 carry lineups due to late game potential. Unless you are significantly better than the average player in the low skill bracket, supporting can likely have a negative effect on your winrate because you are picking a position that is not "in the meta" for low skill games.
NOTE: When I say the games last longer, I mean there is less team fighting, taking of objectives, etc. and more AFK farming. Supports are better in team fights early in the game, when there are few in low skill bracket. More team fights occur later in the game where a support is going to have less impact.
that case happen because people at 2k bracket doesnt know how to play dota 2 properly
most player in 2k bracket have bad basic mechanism and knowledge about the game
and i think u thinking too far, u should considering basic mechanism and knowledge first in that bracket, like last hit, item progression, map awareness, simple damage calculation on 1-3 enemy hero, and remembering what status effect that enemy hero can give to ur hero and ur teammate.
role and other thing like teamfight, splitpush, laning, shiftqueuing, microing, etc in dota 2 mechanism and knowledge are used at next bracket
in my early ranked match, i just know few hero and their skills, rarely got decent last hit and look map, doesnt count enemy hero damage, etc
its took me several months to reach next bracket( thanks to valve major at that time for show me how insanely pro player basic mechanic)
if u wanna play with proper lineup, u should play at higher bracket
your bracket are contain with new player and old player that doesnt want to learn more or old player that thinking his skills beyond the limits of his capable.
Hey @| Tonyto |
I forget to say, if you want to play a core position, try to play 3 or 4 matches against bot with the same hero.
You'll be suprised in how good bots are in dennyng creeps and cs.
play against then and try the cs as much as possible, try lot's of cs under the tower as well.
traing yourself to farm and keep an eye on the minimap to prevent ganks...
This will help you a lot.
And try Simple heroes, a hero with Simple mechanics helps you to Focus on other aspects of the game.
I'm not the best person to tell you this since i have 350+ matches with earth spirit and 250+ with Oracle, but today i see that it makes all sence.
If try Offlane, first of all, block your creeps, but let 1 goes ahead, this will help the lanning aquilibrium in your farvor by the second wave, this allows your to recover some levels.
When the enemy's supports leave your lane, aplly presure in the hc, because if they aren't babysitting, they're probably ganking or hardlanning YOUR carry.
Force then to come back or destroy the enemy farm.
remember, as offlaner you're not just a initiation or utility tool, you're a core. You need xp and farm as well, so don't waste time hunting enemys you don't even have vision.
Go with your team in some calls and if you're not taking objetives or tryng to pickoof someone, farm as much as you can.
Cheers
I love playing support. While it's true climbing until somewhat 5K+ is easiest when spamming the strongest cores, playing a decent support can be more fun. I can't imagine enjoying farming for 30 minutes every game, so unless you go competitive just try and find a non-core role for yourself that you enjoy. That way your cores have 50-50 chance vs enemy cores, and you might even be able to 50% winrate WHILE having fun too.
Below 5K you can always get pos 4 and 5, and a lot of times nobody want to offlane, so you can go for that too.
no
this
Nice F behavior score and wk winrate xd
what can i say my team holds me back
