Getting to 2 TI Finals on a TI winning team and not winning. Making your own team several years later and winning it all after grinding through the lower bracket. A clean sweep 3-0 in the grand finals. History truly has been made.
Also, being a good guy and placing 3 billion wards for whoever places his card in the fantasy roster.
The hardest role is support afterall. Every dota veteran knows that.
Fuck noobs ruining games thinking they are all hot getting kills with some braindead hero
besides that, kuro also gave heen a coaching role, as well as taking up jerax pushing him to be a t1 player from mvp hot6 right after their abysmal run in ti5.

Why TF r u bringing this shit up in a thread abt kuro lmao

Anyway kuro deserved it
He did well, drafts on point, worked hard.
I kinda wanted artour to get it but that's ok, liquid played out of their minds.
These 20 year olds played a video game and have earned more money than most ppl on this forum will earn in a lifetime.
How much of the 10 million does each player take home approx ? After paying coaches and Company ? Is the winnings taxed ?
it was nice to see how humble he was after winning too. It was truly a dream come true for him
Of course it's taxed. I think the organization usually takes a 6th share, captain probably gets paid out of that, and each player gets a 6th, but TI might be different cus the prize is so huge the organization may get less. Part of the reason wings disbanded before reforming as team random and eventually disbanding altogether was because the wings team demanded 40% of the TI winnings.
Taxes depend on the country you hail from I would imagine. The US is going to tax their winnings I'm very sure since they were earned in the US and then whether your country of origin taxes them depends on the country. My guess is they pay like 40% once it's all said and done so each player is probably pocketing around a million. But that's how it is for every high earning athelete or entertainer, people see the 100 million dollar contract and forget the athlete barely gets half sometimes. It's also why sometimes they'll pick a team in a state tax free place like florida or texas vs california or new york which pay 13.3% in ca.
You also have to remember these guys on the huge teams make salaries now. I have no idea how much but Dendi has hinted that it's a very good living in the ukraine. So it's not like they need the prize money to eat. Why do you think players switch teams like disband mvp phoenix and go to secret and stuff? It's cus of salaries and bonuses.
But somehow for me that guy is arrogant, because I've seen some interviews with him and he was just like "don't want to talk" sometimes people having fun and he is just standing still with no emotion at all
But he deserved that fucking AEGIS
I think kuro is just very quiet and professional. People have different personalities. If you want to talk arrogant just listen to any sumail interview.

I would've cried as well. Congrats Kuro.
