Wow I could write a thesis to describe the differences between each bracket. It's not like big obvious things. But obviously it is an amalgamation of small things that result in noticeable characteristics every 500 mmr or so. Mostly u will feel a difference in the pace of play and general efficiency. But there are still some really big signs u play with a 1k vs. a 3k. I especially like playing in parties with big mmr gaps because I can usually play the guessing game to see who is the 1k/2k in a 3k avg game. Usually I'm right.
Just an example, 1ks have no concept of small hero differences and small advantages, no concept of creep aggro, no concept of last hitting. So how this manifests is that they almost will never be aggressive in lane until one guy gets low enough from tanking creeps. They will almost always be auto attacking the creepwave. 3ks don't do that all the time. They tank creeps needlessly hence there's no need to learn how to be properly aggressive in a lane. No one trades hits so a very effective way to win lanes is to pick a range hero and just harass someone out of lane without drawing aggro. No one does that properly in 1k so everyone positions poorly in lane without getting punished. They don't know someone's dead until they see hp bars are low. How this manifests is you will see extreme tunneling, 1 guy running in to chase a low hp guy even when surrounded by enemies. And the flip side is that easy kills are missed because they don't see anyone "low enough". That's their concept of how to kill and it's so easy to abuse this by baiting ppl when u r low hp.
Occasionally one effective strat u will see 1ks utilize is spell spamming to get someone low because that's an effective way to enable people to "go on someone". They will just use al their mana on low level nukes every opportunity they get in a lane.
I think what u mean to say is u win in 1-3k all the same. Does not mean that a 1k can play in 3k game or that a 3k will not absolutely destroy a 1k. That's just completely false.

but this is stuff my friend isnt aware about, because, yeah tunnelvisioning where the thought process is "support --> harass the enemy until low --> kill" which is actually correct at times but they do it in the most extreme but inefficient ways, while also neglecting other stuff that they might be messing up

1000-1500 casual fest, nobody rages or anything, and everyone just do their own thing, stuck on 2013 meta
1500-2000 toxicity is starting to show, no big difference compared to low 1k except that people tilt more and some people can snowball out of kills
2000-2500 even more toxic, some people knows how to last hit and farm, but most of these people are afk shitfucks who afk farm on a juggernaut against alchemist (still doesnt know power spikes, win conditions, etc)
2500-3000 ???????
3000-3500 slightly coordinated and cooperative, starts to push and get rosh as soon as opportunity comes out, have alot of players who knows farming is important but doesnt know how to do it efficiently, not that toxic until you're nearing 3500
3500+ diox
i play on 2600 and 3400 and i can carry harder in 2600
so yeah theres a difference
