^the tournament may be dogshit but the teams there r very good and it was the same hero in the same position with almost the same build at least 4 if not 5 times, i dont think it cud possible be a fluke.

Lina in general seems to be the new Queen of Pain, her talents lend well to a lategame rightclick build while her lvl 10 talent caters heavily to a strong earlygame presence. She's safe, can get safe and easy pickoffs around getting lvl 6, and just fits in general with the metagame's current reliance on the earlygame. Bloodstone works well with Fiery Soul, since in order to be a lategame threat she would need to constantly spam her abilities in order to keep up her stacks, meaning the opponents could just wait until she spent 3/4 of her mana pool pushing the T3 and jump in while she only has two or three more spells in her. Bloodstone basically means she is always to have consistent pressure from both the physical and magical front, useful in this aspect even at ~5 charges. The point where bloodstone would be obsolete would be the point where lina's team would be losing anyway. It's also a very safe pick on her - while other common bloodstone heroes like Storm, Timber and Leshrac like to be in the middle of the fight, Lina's in the far backline, especially with her attack range talent and probably a pike, combined with Fiery Soul makes it a lot harder for her to lose stacks.
tl;dr lina's meta friendly, scales well throughout all stages of the game, bloodstone lets her keep her relevancy lategame in drawn out pushes or fights and is a relatively safe carrier.
I think its more they were trying to throw dc off knowing they could afford to lose a game. Also Lina is pretty good but if she gets behind she is food and I think it is much harder to accomplish a mid lina. As for bloodstone it helps deal with her squishyness and is definitely nice for the mana regen though there are other item builds that can accomplish about the same thing, this gets it to you faster.
The build has been almost always arcanes bloodstone BoT sb or smth like that. Then into shit like shivas and silver edge and bkb and becoming tanky.
Lina is a floating machine gun. Just buy 2 monshards and u'll see she fires with RoF faster than your GpM

Lina lvl 25 is a natural machine gun herself at 530 Atk spd or something with talented Fiery Soul full stacked
She was buffed non-stop but a little at a time since people deemed her and Lesh were nerfed out of the meta back then

So there is this tournament in manila going on with some big chinese teams like wings and ig and vgj, and they have all started running mid lina. Blink played it 2 games, freeze played it, and they all go bloodstone first major item every game i saw. Is there a trend i missed or just some chinese doto memes? Whats happening and whats ur thoughts.
