The silence is a killer for many, like it'll probably stop OD and silencer since I think their orbs don't work while silenced. But I think most people just forgot about the changes cus it's very viable now on sniper, drow, maybe even luna if you cast your ult ahead of time, same with drow maybe open with gust and some frosty arrows then pop it, or just use it to rat. Before if you used mask you'd get blown up instantly in any fight, now idk. I guess the silence has to balance it since -5 armor is nothing to many heroes. If I spam sniper again I will try it, I just usually forget it's there. With dominator nerfed to hell though maybe I'll remember now.
Medusa would probably be really good with it too. Snake cd is 11 seconds, so open with snake and pop it leaving other stuff toggled on.
Spirit breaker is probably fine cus he charge, ult, doesn't cast again for a while.
Why the fuck would you get it on troll? What if he needs to switch to ranged or cast a couple whirling axes? Plus he doesn't need the attack speed.

I think its only viable on sniper, even luna and sven need to stun, and even on sniper its situational when u r against things like clockwerk to break cogs, or when u need lifesteal to manfight better in the midgame. Its like a pseudo sny, cuz it gives ms and procs headshot more allowing u to kite.

U know, 90 as from 3rd skill, 30 as from pt, n 120 as from madness so u get 400as just from 2 item
Slow then silence, then pop madness, 1st skill has 8 sc cd n madness silence last for 8 sc
I reckon the cool down needs to be shorter. Old MoM had basically 50% up time (12/25 seconds). Now it's only 40% up time (8/20 seconds). Unnecessary nerf in my opinion. It should be changed to a 16 second cool down.
Its good if your shy and want something to conceal your madness.
Works with most outfits
Dragon Knight, Sven, Luna, SB, Drow Ranger. You could consider it as a farming, pushing and sometimes escaping kinda of item. It is handy in team fight for High armor right clickers.
a lot of Voids used to buy it. If u think 5 sec in chrono, 2 sec manfighting and then 1 more sec and u can jump out of the battle.
im just use that item in abilty draft, pick all skill pasif core item manta and enjoy the game. but in public it suck, useles item in dota 2
Better player won't just use all skill at once and MoM silance yourself.
All skill need to be use at correct timing that why no one use MoM
Sven situonally, but MoM was always thing for me on Void, many ppl ill say it is trash but works lower in mmr you get it as first item, you can go jungle anytime with it, in chrono you kill support and coming back farm/jungle till cd on chrono.
^MoM void is the deadest thing ever, u just silence urself then die cuz u cant timewalk like a retard. Making an item just to fight in chrono is retarded cuz chrono has a huge cd. There is actually almost no situation where MoM is better than something else.

but then u have sny and travels on drow and not non garbage items. also you cant use frost arrow lol xd
I believe the point of Frost Arrows is to insure the enemy cannot escape. Not many heroes can escape from 538 movement speed minute 20.
All the same, it is still a joke build, only there to turn Drow into Ricky Bobby.

I rarely see anyone get MoM anymore. Is it actually good on anyone? When would you even buy it? The 8 second silence is just so long and seems like such a hindrance for almost any hero. Plus it seems like there are other more cost-effective items. Are there any changes you think that should be made to this item so that it gets purchased more?
