Lol, my friends in the past has calibrated at 5.4k despite many people saying that the max calibration is 4.9k.
Maybe, Valve is really distinguishing the skill cap between smurfs as I can see most people who has 1 bad game in their new account get descended from VHS to HS in the next game. It's probably just to recalibrate new people from creating smurfs.
Anyway its still day 1 maybe the good smurfers always find ways to abuse the system. Only time can tell I guess.
