Radiant has the advantage of the camera map position, I don't know the term exactly, but being radiant you are more at ease moving the map when pushing/clashing as you pan it forward instead of dragging the mouse downward when you're in dire. I don't know if that affect the player, but I find it hard fighting in clash when in dire.
Nah the most logical answer would be because the Radiant Faction are the good guys doesn't have to do with the map hahaha, but seriously tho I feel comfortable playing in Radiant than in Dire it seems like ChowderXD's answer seems to be one of the right answer.
Before 7.00 I was better radiant ever since 7.00 I have been better dire. This last month I am 67% win rate dire and 61% radiant. Last 6 months is about even at 61% taking into consideration 3 months of each.
well 7.02 balanced out things a bit, like both ancient camps being near the shrines making it risky to steal from dire jungle. the one thing radiant is better at is mid for lower skills (trees give hiding advantages and you wont see dire players roaming in and making it to their advantage) and these winrates are mostly true to lower skilled players since that is the majority of players

Im not evil my friend. I have 64 radiant and 60 dire. I really love being on dire before 6.88 because it just feels right to be on dire. Why dire mid is stronger? Hero with less than 300? Movement speed cant block creep as good as radiant. Is it because of the tower range?
59% vs 55% in favor of Radiant. Confirmed: game ruiners more likely to appear in Dire than in Radiant.
