nranked mm is based on ur hidden mmr
ur hidden mmr can be above 5k
your first calibration match is played exactly at the level of your hidden mmr, even if its 7k
since the 2nd calibration game, it is adjusted to the cap and cant get 5k+ anymore

also, meeting ppl with 5.2k mmr in normal mm doesnt mean ur hidden mmr is 5.2
hidden mmr is different from actual mmr, they are separate after the calibration
