I still buy it on luna and jugg. Just a overall nice item to have. You can farm faster because of the alpha wolf or get a +8armor from ice ogre. The purge creep is still as good as the old one
I think now it is less of a must-have, if you don't intend to group with your team it is no longer as strong. That being said I still think early 5-manning is the go on Luna and Jugg so in that sense nothing has really changed.
Losing 2 stats is not that much. And the gold nerf is mostly irrelevant. It still has 8 HP regen aura.

With the relatively large nerfs the item received in 7.02, should one still get the item on virtually every safelane core?
I know that the item is still good, but is it still way too efficient of an option that there are zero alternatives?
