i laugh when 5.7k player cant own kids in low 4k then keep posting the threads blaming the cores in dotabuff

Because slark players nowadays think sb is main item for rush, and forget slark is squishy hero, i prefer sange yasha for teamfight and stat

im not saying slark isnt an easy hero to play. he really is simple. but he is or so ive heard one of the highest skill cap heroes in the game. and i suppose you need to be at least close to that skill cap to be highly effective in very high mmr games (or at least carry as hard as you do like 3 or 4k mmr games).

Same story happened to me. In 3.9k avg everyone picking core and do nothing. And all they do is feed and farm. No push no gank. I think valve need new type of punishment like restrict hero pool. Like ban all carry heroes in ranked. I also play in sea

Slark is difficult in higher tier mmr, but only in a close game. Usually he snowballs out of control or crashes and burns hard. He either goes 30-0 or 0-30 u know

Mek on slark, for survivability early and teamfight+stat, otherwise I try playing him like Meepo, 3dlance, blink, aghs, boots of travel 103% winrate

you might be on to something. stat based heroes like slark need cheap efficient items like DL to boost his early teamfight and survivability.

I believe that weird 10k Slark games still 5k MMR guy said that Pike is an interesting item to play with.

he probably copied it from miracle. i said pike is good on riki too, when dendi built it i was sure that it really IS good though.

but honestly dragon lance has been nerfed too much to be of value to melees in my opinion, even SnY (after aquila) is probably better.

like seriously if you think about buying a dragon lance, just finish your silver edge instead.
