Ember is a big deal this patch, I think TA struggles against that hero quite a bit. Overall I think TA is OK, the hero absolutely needs to win its lane to be viable and has quite a few hard counters, this relegates it to being a situational pick.
i played against a TA when we did not have a single DoT or any counter to her refraction, all the team pure single target burst dps. needless to say once she got 25 it was impossible to win a fight because of permanent refraction gg.
She has her place, maybe in a rlly aggressive game with slardar lifestealer and no ember in enemy.
TA's 50/50 against ember in a pure 1v1 but there's a couple of issues with the matchup. Firstly you feed to any rotations which are very common currently. Secondly with a good rune or a slight mistake you feed as TA whereas the matchup is a lot more forgiving for ember. Finally ember usually loses lane to most common mids but catches up with his veil and lvl 10 talent so giving him a 50/50 lane where he can come out with a decent laning phase is generally not a great idea.

I mean maybe I'm not playing TA well but I seem to be getting losing most games when I play TA, especially by carries like Luna, I also lose to slardar, OD etc. I'm probably not playing well since I haven't played TA in a while.
