Yes ive seen roaming mk before its like roaming riki only at lvl 1 ur way more mobile and u have a 40% slow for 4 seconds lvl 1.
I think going, stout Orb of Venom and faerie fires, them go mid from the back just to harass, them buy smoke, you should go phase > vanguard > echo, them go lockdown itens to you can solo pick someone on the back of teamfights.
so you get abyssal later, plus the hp regen is good if you are just walking around the map, and clearing some camps between ganks.
Why do u need hp regen when u have shrines? The dmg block is also completely uneeded, and u wont even make full abyssal every game.
^you can dive towers whitout a problem, and shrines have a very long CD, dive one tower go to shrine, dive another go to shrine, bam all shrines on cd, need to go to base, lose important time walking around instead of farming creeps, and giving your team map control.
If you want to gank, you cant relly on shrines, they were made mainly for your laners, and team ganks, so the whole team can use the heal , thats why all good gankers and roamers of the game buy some sort of regen item.
You need to be active, walking around the map without doing nothing wont make you win the game, buy a talon too so you can kill some big creeps.
but you will get basher at some point because of the ult, them you up into abyssal so you can solo pick people.
If u want to upgrade it later then do it later. There isnt a reason to sacrifice ur early gank potential, the whole point of roaming mk, just so u can upgrade it. Its like buying force staff on sniper cuz u will buy upgrade it to pike.
Ive been seeing diffusal, basher, sb etc, but never any utility items like a vlads or something. Maybe drums or helm? But ye from what ive seen those r skipped. But r they viable? Is it ok or good to go for utility?

Helm can be good, it should be a alternative to vanguard, the aura is broken.
why not vlad as MK? its give sustain to your farm creeps and you are roaming anyway better give those auras. what do u think daddy?
I think you can't afford to not have 2 second stun on level 7 as a roaming MK. Also in a lot of situations you might better go for passive instead of W on level 1.

Daddy you indian retard that fucks animals and family members, i like vanguard on mk, just like i like vanguard on pa, both of these heroes are squishy, but do a lot of dmg, i dont think you get it how vanguard changes the way you play it, most of the time if you stun PA and MK he dies within 3-4 secs, especially after 15 minutes, Vanguard is the best item for its cost, that gives HP, HP regen, and some sort of DMG negation.
Most low level players disregard item choices in some heroes because they have a mentality that the item is not made for a carry, or this is a sup item, if you think that go play LoL (since the LoL meta is made by the devs and not by the players), because Dota is all about being able to build your hero and your items as the best fit for the scenario that you are playing.
You can build a multitude of items Helm, Vlads, Vanguard, i just like the option to build the vanguard in a roaming right clicker, that has a survivability problem, if you didnt get you are a retard.

Anyway, for MK build Phase Deso/SB depending on the game.
If you are roaming, well... the way I play him is E first, then Q, then W, then I focus on maxing Q first, and never get his ult until level 7 or 8 or even 9, but getting it at 9 would be a very rare circumstance.
I average 14 - 20 kills, but I have a 22% win rate with him currently (I will bump it up to 50 - 60 soon). He can snowball so hard, but make sure to end, because just like QoP, he falls off hard. If your team is playing FaceBook Farmville, then do what you can before the enemy team starts raping your vagina. (reason I have 22% win rate) My first 3 games I sucked ass with him. I only have 9 games with him but the way I play him works out for me.

You want Phase, Echo is staple for the quicker passive stacks.
SB/Deso works like a charm.
But don't buy both sb/deso unless you are that far ahead. Because you will need a BKB or some tankiness to not get swatted like a fly
I was thinking something like phase > echo > vlads,drums,hood(only against ember or something) > sb,deso,basher,diffusal etc. then transition into carry items.
