early boots of travel for solo pickoffs on lina and sniper when they solo farm a lane is amazing. aim to silence their main form of cc, in that case, the veno for his dmg output being so insanely high (only if he hasn't ulted yet). use scythe on the CK pre illusions and aim to kill their backlines or supports before they can cast spells. Storm isn't a 1v5 hero, he gets in the back line and stops the enemy from having a "free" source of DPS (sniper, lina, and the veno) so if you can kill veno or lina pre-ult you could really turn almost any team fight, if you solo the sniper in an isolated BoT scenario you can five-man mid and win so long as you stop veno or lina from ulting your carry. I'm not the biggest fan of shivas right there because they don't have many high attack speed heroes with little gap close which is what shivas is mostly bought for on storm, as well as chasing. .75s electric vortex + aghs would've done better than shivas in that scenario because only lina had bkb, so a good vortex and you could have warlock ult and shadow shaman ult really fuck em up + shackles on CK pre illusions is way too good. all in all, go for their back line and keep them from casting major team fight spells. Dying to their team comp but keeping either the sniper from dealing dmg, lina from ulting, or veno from ulting and I wouldn't see the other team winning a team fight.
