1-1-4-1 if you are under heavy magic fire.
1-4-1-1 if you are having easy farm so you can farm more faster.
4-1-1-1 if you need to shut down the offlaner with your supports.

Thing with max mana burn is that it offers you some serious damage. Its like necromadtery just you have a decent stat gain and base damage.

Nobody plays shadow demon in 3k

maxing mana break right after blink is no longer useless bad because ancients take a lot of time to kill but they now take mana break damage, also there are 4 freaking ancient camps

its really the best counter for AM that goes for 4111, and nobody is playing shadow demon in 3k?
