1. press alt to view CS over you hero profile picture
2. you can increase minimap size in the game settings, since the map is actually larger by about 30% you can increase the mini map to increase detail size.
to view other hero's complete information the old way:
in options check "Unit query overrides hero control console" this will make clicking an enemy hero fill all the bottom HUD display with that hero's information rather your heros like it used to in the previous versions of dota allowing you to view attack speed, attack range, resistances, items etc.
