I don't understand Midas on brood. Isn't an orchid rush better normally? For the mana and to force the enemy to commit at least two heros to counter you? Would he get it in a pro game?

Which means you could have orchid at <9m without Midas...

I can totally see it useful if you are going to be hunted a lot I suppose.

if you dont see a chance to win the game early, then midas is a good call. retreat to the jungle, get midas, work on bloodthorn, bkb, AC and manfight items.

If you can win the game early, grab necrobooks and possibly radiance.
If they are spamming dust or track/amp dmg, go manta.

Momma is very much a last-pick hero.
