i think u needed to get an earlyish diffusal that game, it gives TB a fuckton of damage
ur best bet was taking rosh at 25-30 minutes, crushing 1-2 teamfights and breaking their whole base before spectre got big
I saw someone 1v5 a team with an invoker and legion commander cus of satanic, so it works vs duel and gave him hp for invokers nukes. Just a thought. Still crap
What's the heroes role that it doesn't fit with? He's an excellent farmer but much less a split pusher now, really excels in team fights and man fights which satanic helps a lot so you don't get blown up once bkb is down.
Tb have the best hp regen on the game no need for lifesteal. He just need movement speed and dmg tanky items.

I feel like if I sold dragon lane and built satanic instead of upgrade into pike we'd have won. Couple big moments, NP was ratting us HARD all game, like had our t2s down before we had t1s. But they had nothing that could high ground so I wasn't super worried and was getting gobs of farm. Like 200 cs min 20. In before 5ks tell me that's shitty, look at my bracket kthx.
Anyway my team kept taking super dumb fights while I was farming cus I really can't fight into a spec, puck, veno, mirana without bkb. So they were off dying and I solo'd bottom rax. 1v3'd them, they started resurecting and killed me. If I had had lifesteal I think I could've taken a few more out with me dunno. That was wasn't a huge deal cus lanes were pushed. I think it was my 1st death.
2nd and 3rd death were way worse. We finally got out side lanes pushed enough to 5 man mid. But they have so much freaking magic dmg as soon as my bkb is gone you just get blown the fuck up even with sunder. We got the tower and started on rax but I died, but they spent so much killing me and we had a couple down so I boughtback and tp'd in to finish rax. Ended up dying though cus they bought back spectre and puck I think. Don't remember but they bought back a couple.
That dieback proved to be pretty fatal as we needed a buyback later. Last push we were 5 manning their top, again they drop way too much magic, my team dies in 5 seconds cus they are morons without bkbs and I can't sustain long enough to kill rax for megas. 130 min res timer, gg they march mid and finish.
It was a throw, if we had waited for rosh and our buybacks we'd have been fine. It was pretty dumb. But we were feeling strong! I think the problem was that veno ult just ticked and ticked and I was constaly at half hp. I think satanic would've kept me upright.
And dragon lance is more for stats early and to siege towers more safely, but end game you have to break high ground anyway so not sure if the range on pike helps that much. TB isn't really a kiter either.
The way games go now and how meta is an aura I think bkb and satanic are almost core every game. So many fucking nukers. I would love to skip bkb but it just isn't happening most games. I think bots, manta, skadi, bkb, butter, satanic is the build.
