Well that's better than valves metrics. If I'm playing core but buy all the support items along w core items I'm not a support. A support hero playing core role is a 10 on support while buying 0 support items
Apparently 66% of my sandking games were me being a core...when he is my go to support when I go second support in pubs.

buying wards and healing makes you a support, not doing those makes you either a core or a bad support
i played timber and valve gave me 7 points for support even when I haven't bought a single support item because I had 2k healing from bloodstone lol

it's a pretty tricky thing to classify. Imagine if you were playing Lifestealer, jungling in the early game and not buying any support items. You'd probably be a core instead of support. Thanks for the feedback though, we're always looking to improve.

this is pretty unfortunate. We don't use wards as a sole indicator for support, but in this case you managed to get marked as a support anyway. We're always adjusting the algorithm so feedback like this does help and we are listening.
