i disabled updates because they're a pain in the ass, they take 99% of the bandwith, you cant limit them

I'm going to reinstall dota, if that doesn't work after work I'll uninstall updates.

First thing to do on a new computer is disable windows group monitor (don't know exactly how it's called in english, but that trash feature ask you 500 times after each click if you really want to disable all the shit you have to disable/uninstal), then windows update, and then pretty much every single "features" of windows.
sounds like some sort of driver is not up to date. Most likely your graphics card driver but could also be sound card if you have a custom sound card. Update drivers before you try anything extreme.
Finally fixed it, had to revert to last version of windows. Jesus Microsoft get your shit together lol

Pretty pissed about it, update took a bit, when I went to load up dota the audio goes distorted, and whole computer freezes up. Done this 3 times now. Anybody else having this problem?
