To become good you should choose 4-5 heroes of that role and watch a lot of pro replays

the role u play doesnt affect ur calibration. however, if u suck at supporting, ur mmr gonna be crap, thats for sure.
^ it is common misconception really to think that playing support hurts your calibration. Your account skill level is what matter most
That was some kind of myth that if you play support during calibration, you will be a 1k or 2k scrub.
It still depends on your way of supporting.

slark ofc. i played on my friends account for his 10 intl. ranked games and just first picked slark 7/10 (other 3 he got banned) and all 10 games won easily.
Just get midas+shadow blade by 15-17 mins and you can't lose.

I play in SE-A , I did the mistake of playing a sacrificial support for my calibration , and got 2 k MMR . And ever since , plying support in ranked is mostly horrible , only because teammates just fight , the mid fails , and carry spends most of his time typing rather than farming . Lately , I've learned to play mid more , and holy shit I've been winning a lot more . I think if i learn carry I can easily raise about 1k+ mmr . Who are the best heroes to 1 man carry ? What are the best builds ? And any tips ?
