BLOODSEEKER AGHS in General Discussion
Jacked

destroys noobs so hard its hilarious.

    Filthy

Add a blade mail into that and they should just sit in fountain until throne is gone .

      Chaoshype

double blademail (with agh) and run with rupture level 3 xD

        Jacked

shouldve gotten that hurricane item too for shits n giggles

          Murranji

The problem with the item is that it's absolutely useless unless bloodseeker and his team are ahead.

All rupture does is force an enemy to stay in place. Yeah there's a couple of heroes with position changing skills such as pudge, venge, magnus, batrider etc, the chance of you having them on your team is pretty low.

So if an enemy/their team can just turn and win a fight when they are forced to the entire ultimate becomes worthless. Like all the ultimate does is force an enemy to stand still, or they take damage. It's just a 12 second long weak lockdown. And all his aghs does is means he can use two at once, or keep in on one target longer. It's great as a ganking tool, and that's all. Outside on any situation where he is:

            1) Not ahead
            2) Not with allies who can interrupt TPs
            3) Not ganking a solo hero or with at least 2 other allies ganking 2 enemy heroes.

Then the aghs upgrade is uselsss. Worse, by going aghs it actually reduces his potential to carry properly since it provides shit stats compared to other items he could pick up.

            Jilled

              I understand rupture doesn't do much. But say in 5 v 5. And 2 enemies can't really
Move, isn't that a big advantage to the team? I know it's oversimplifying it. But still. How is "just not moving" any way to ensure ur other 3 teammates don't get run down

              YB^^

Bloodseeker does have other spells you know

                Murranji

If the bloodseeker and his team are ahead and are able to run at you and you need to run, great, they win.

If they aren't ahead though, then all the ruptured heroes need to do is move out of the range of the bloodrite - (you still only get one despite the fact that the ruptured targets might be quite far apart). At most the level 16 spell damage does around something like 300-350 damage if the spell is placed with the rupture target right in the middle.

Then when the bloodseeker and whoever runs in to try and fight, you just turn around and right click them, throw your spells at the etc whatever. If the bloodseeker has blademail on well whatever, just don't attack him for 4 seconds, then turn around and blow him up with the 40% extra damage he takes, also blow his team up since remember you are ahead - your team does more damage than his, you probably more HP too.

The thing is the bloodseeker is almost never going to be ahead of your carry because he lacks any way to create an early game advantage since he so rarely ever gets the extra damage in the laning stage which he used to. And even in team fights he still doesn't get any extra damage until an enemy is at least at 75% hp, and even then doesn't get the same amount of additional damage as what he used to.

He's had a slight increase in winrate since he did get a slight hp buff (about 233 extra hp at level 25 compared to what he had in 6.84), but honestly what situations are there where 12 seconds of soft lockdown - ie unable to move without taking damage, is comparable in anyway to a proper form of mass lockdown like blackhole, RP, Dream Coil etc etc.

It's a fucking joke item for pubs and he will still never ever be picked in competitive, nor will his aghs be built either by virtue of him being never picked.

@OSRwhatever - oh yeah an aoe nuke which broadcasts where it is going to hit and gives you 3 seconds to move out of. Wow what a game breaking ability.

                  Chadzpyre

The only thing bloodseeker got this patch was an retard buff to blademail, i dont think it makes him viable yet.

                    Murranji

Needs either a significant rupture buff - eg doing 25% of current hp might do it, since that way for full hp targets every extra point of damage the ruptured target gets actually starts as soon as they are ruptured unlike currently, making it current hp means he wouldn't just be able to instagib anyone on <25% hp.

Either that or he nerfs thirst back up in some way, give extra damage, exta attack speed, magic resist...something.

                      LeFlash

if u use refresher orb you get the 2 charges back? so you can rupture 4 people? That would be insane.

                        oykman

Bloodthorn seeker is way scarier and stronger for me than agha seeker.
                          @Ubur:
Support bs is very situational. You play him like that only when you have too many carries/only one support in your team. It also helps if your team is leading by a good advantage in kills and you are trying to feed your carry many kills fast, just like you did with clinkz.

                          @Murranji:
I always love your analysis and general advice for bs. It seems to me that you gave up on him after 6.82 and onwards, just like i did. But i will start playing him again no matter what because he is the only genuine counter vs my top hated heroes like slark, am etc.

Here are some things that people have to say about this hero:
                          Current seeker:
Weak mid laner, weak offlaner, doesn't give enough as a safe lane carry, needs too many levels as a support. You could maybe get away with running him as a 3 who transitions into the jungle (similar to doom), but you'd need specific synergies to make him a good pick.

                          Old seeker:
People are definitely forgetting old Bloodseeker. His old Bloodrage gave him 3x the damage bonus of the current Bloodrage, and he didn't need to put himself in harms way by taking extra damage since the heal was tied to his passive. Heck, he didn't even need to be the one to kill the target to get the full heal. Not only was he an early game menace, he scaled incredibly well lategame, since he had a spell that was basically granted him a permanent DD but better, and the only real downside is that he took a measly 20 damage per second during the duration. Back then, he was an absolute menace whose only counter was basically admitting defeat and getting the fuck out of there. Now, you can actually fight back, and if you have any lockdown whatsoever, he's dead.
