Your PC might be infected. I haven't seen such ads on this site. Other people are saying they haven't seen them here either. If it's just this site, then it might be using a common exploit shared by this site and some others to force the ads. The ads you described are usually on certain types of sites....
It depends on your location, i only get online shopping ads, some adds for electronics, and shitty charity ads for conspicois organizations.

i just realised, i've seen ads like this even on school computers so i doubt that it's because of some adware in my computer that i'm unaware of
Why you can just use adblocker? I use it eveywere but always disable on cool sites without annoying ads.
Yeah, that's why I have adblock. I don't mind some non retarded ads to support the site, but when I see this... I'm just fucking done.

i'm alright with looking at harmless ads above and on the bottom of the page showing some shoe shops/overwatch ads/car shops
but seeing ads where:
"a hard labor worker learnt 3 foreign languages in 1 month and now he makes over 2000€ monthly"
"say hi to your boss from your new porsche"
"fuck work and make my money like me from the internet where i make 10 times more money per hour"
"grammar school student wasn't able to make a sentence, now he's expert in two foreign languages"
"congratulations you're 1.000.000th visitor, click here for your iphone"
not only that they make me quite sad and ruin my mood but also i'm pretty sure that they're harmful and should be gotten rid of
