Please dont mind my first 3 matches on the list where I built different items on him, and that one abandon where my internet suddenly went haywire 10 secs before runewar in the game(still played the game as support but barely contributed to the win)

Ideally mid is your best lane. max acid ASAP, get 1 value point of unstable concoction, max greed next, get rage whenever possible and finish maxing stun. early phase as the boots of choice as you need this to gank early, aim for armlet at around 10-ish minutes, SnY before 20(usually I go sange first for early bulk and damage) maybe go deso if you're really ahead and then mjolnir next OR go mjolnir straight(hyperstone first) if you predict more downtime in between fights, then your next item choices you just build accordingly to the game. I like to go cuirass and daedalus if the enemy lineup permits enough leeway, but sometimes I do get the occasional MKB or linkens or BKB or abyssal. Octarine might be a good choice just to keep your ult downtime to a minimum. blink dagger is a bit situational considering you still need to charge up your stun and there's a good chance that things go wrong when you don't find your target upon blinking in.

yeah I know I'm nothing more than a normal skill scrub, but anyone care to perhaps keep an open mind and maybe have a go at this kind of playstyle on their respective skill brackets? I know some of you are a bit fed up with the radiance-BoT build so maybe this could be a welcome change

The perfect item for alche is:

0 mins: Ask supports for 2 tanggos. Then buy 2 fairy fire, 2 branches, and quelling blade.

If your mid lane enemy is hard, buy wand first.

      Buy bottle ASAP., then boots.

Buy Radiance Asap. A rad before 15mins is good. A raf before 20mins is still fine.

      Build Manta Style.
Upgrade your boots to Boots of Travel.
      Build Octarine Core
      Build BKB
      Build Basher then Abbysal Blade

Your final item will be: Travel, Abbysal, Manta, Radiance, Octarine, BKB.

If its not yet over and you still have a lot of gold:

Buy Moon Shard and eat it (bonus 50 atk spd without slot)
Buy Aghanims and eat it (bonus +10 to a stats plus 250hp 150mp)
Sell Radiance and build Mjolnir for attack spd. Works well will Abbysal

So much for suggesting a different build ey. You get slapped in the face with the regular build for first reply anyway.

Fighting build is OK, but honestly if you want a hero that farms gold stupid fast and then fights early just pick sven lol. If going mid is your goal, try TA rush deso and stack ur ancients ASAP.

Alc is just not that great atm, he'll get turbo dumsptered mid by Imbavoker and ImbaOD and out carried by sven/spooktre.

          Gazz ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Its true. Alche can only fight well if he can outfarm his opponents.

TELL YOUR GIRL TO WASH HE...

The whole point of my build is to maintain a presence from early to mid game and when you do your job of messing up the enemy tempo right at these crucial times, you could transition into late game comfortably, with a little bit of sacrifice from his all too common farming stint all game. Not too many people realize it but alche can hit a relatively high manfight potential early, and he could actually outperform some hard carries(with a careful eye on rage downtime) with the right items.

First reply axaxaxa i think the point of the thread was for something new aka not afk ratting shit, fight build etc.
Could be worth a try it seems a bit expensive tho.

Personly i get the bottle just like anyregular but i go Powerthreads, Armlett, lothar, Maelstorm, Basher, silver/blink depending on the game snowball build simply :)

TELL YOUR GIRL TO WASH HE...

Oh I forgot to mention that I build soulring instead of bottle, even when mid. Bottle is okay too for sustain, but I think it just all comes down to a matter of preference. Not much of a big deal.

^for my common build that's often atkspd rich, I rarely ever go the basher route. I kinda prefer more of disposing a target asap, so in order of proc-able items I often go daedalus. Next comes mkb. I would only go abyssal if there is such a crucial enemy bkb carrier that my team just cannot deal with or I cannot work around of.

                  Dire Wolf

Even though I never play alch I've advocated for an armlet build forever. It syncs so well with his ult. I'd still try to rush battlefury though, and 10 mins for armlet and phase boots is horrible, any normal safe lane carry should be able to do that so on alch is just not good enough. Ideally I'd be trying to get a ~10 min battlefury and armlet at like ~13-14 mins. Then you can finish a basher around 18 and pretty much no one can fight you.

                    SPIDER-MAN

                      just go
midas if u can buy it <5
                      treads
                      shadowblade
                      mael
                      bkb
you can complete it at like 20-25 mins
trust me u can manfight anyone on their team

                      Dire Wolf

                        midas ROFL

don't ever get midas on alch, it slows his farm tremendously cus of how greed works. The rest of that build is fine.

                        SPIDER-MAN

hahaha i know but if you can get it early it can help you farm and the bonus attack speed is good too
this is xboct build 2013 but he buys phase instead of treads

                          Altaire

If my memories didn't fail me, fighting build Alch is the "go to" build on 6.86 on competitive scene, after 6.85's Naga build. So it isn't too uncommon. Play what suits you best, I think....

                              ^i think we're at 6.86 now?
