none of them are european mid players looking for team tho. like, there are 6 of them, 1 has a team, then there are two 7ks who are not interested, 2 non-mid players (one of these has a team, too), and 1 NA player. did i forget someone? dont think so.
you get matrice in your team and then worry about what role he or your teammates play. 6k french rtz .
and I didn't know he was on a team again, thanks for the info
@arin
zenoth and waga do not appearon forums anymore, same as fadiflashi, nongrata and ywn, so i didnt even count them. u forgot sam, dd and vroksnak (mb i should have skipped vroksnak, too, actuallly).
Im not near 6k more like 4.5-5 but meet the other requirement I prefer to play off-lane (depends on how flexible your team is) but I wouldn't mind a bit of practice even if you just want a sub for a few game? Steam url if your interested: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198283435663/
kitrak, thats eitherregion specific and outdated. the amount of 6k+ players in eu is insanely high, particularly considering that some of them are not active solo mmr players.
from what i see, most teams are made pretty much randomly by ppl who initially know each other, and fullfilled with those ones found on joindota or some other forum of the kind; and afterwards the rosters are resuffled during the scrimming period cz u get to know a lot of people there. idk who even uses solo q to find potential team members tbh.
@gameruiner,
If only it would be so easy. First of all there are so many +6k players that you dont really get to play with each other enough to ever add each other. 2nd, many of those players are simply not suitable for our needs (have no comp experience/do not care about comp/do not play enough/other reasons). And yes, we have already tried out multiple people we have found from pubs, but none have been a good match.
Dotabuff isnt the first nor the only place where im looking for people, this was actually the last place I posted.
Obviously there are plenty of people who would fit, and it will be most likely that we will end up picking someone from a pub or through references. As I said earlier we've tried out a bunch of people already and had more or less successfull games. I did not post on this forum expecting someone whos 7k to say "Hey! This is me! I want to join your team!" I posted here to gain more visibility and more exposure, which has already worked out decently, because yestarday we tried out a person whose friend had seen this thread, and pointed it out to their higher mmr friend who was searching for a team.
Another thing thats somewhat problematic in EU high mmr games, is that quite alot of the high mmr mids are russians, and most of them do not have good enough english to play in an international team. Most of the non-russian players already play for a team.
"i find it kind of hard to believe that youve tried out multiple 6k players that havent been interested/right fits. odds are youre just too strict with what ur expecting. at the level ur talking about its not exactly easy to find mid players who are good, have good attitudes and are willing and able to put in the time and effort - because if they were they'd either a) already be on a team or b) theyd be 7k because having those things lets your mmr go up quite fast. "
You are correct here,we are very strict on what we are looking for, thats why we're not just gonna pick up the first decent guy we meet. The plan is not to disband within 3months of finalizing the roster. So I'm in no rush to find the "perfect player" (and yeah im not looking to find a perfect player, rather someone who ticks most of the boxes required).
So as I said before, dotabuff forums was the last thing that came to my mind when searching for new players, but I see no downside to posting here.

We're looking for a mid player for our team. Just to keep it short:
-Super competitive, must have the will to aim for the top
-Ability to train alot, we plan on playing atleast 4-6days a week, for multiple hours a day
-Some experience in the role that you to tryout for & willing to accept advice/critique, (as well as give it to others in a reasonable way)
-Ability to communicate well in english, (we use Discorc for Voip)
-Live in the correct timezone (CET +-3h)
-Show your tryharding & good attitude, already before the games start, (be on time, dont "forget" practice sessions, etc.)
If you think you match the requirements, Post your steam link here and I'll add you.
if you add me directly, write on my wall.
