one thing i would never do in sub 4k games is pick carries that do nothing but farm (because trust me you will have at least 2more of them)
That slark game didn't put u in VHS because you didn't convince the system u belong in vhs
On my other account, it took me 5 stomps in a row to get from Normal Skill to VHS. I picked morphling every match and go like 25/1 with rampages and shit .
One game works for some people but it has to be like 40 kda w. 30k hero damage tons of tower damage and shit .
Aside from ur first game, u haven't been doing well enough to move from normal skill to VHS.
Basically, every hero has average hero damage, tower damage, kills, deaths, assists , gpm , xpm, hero healing, etc.
The way you get moved up is by doing better than the average stats on your hero.
You can see the all average stats of heroes on dotabuff.
Buying support items help too if you're playing support.
Basically if u play carry get tons of kills and assists and lots of farm , hero and tower damage and die only 1 time max to maximize how much u climb in MMR. If u go like 13/5 on anti mage ur kda wont be high so the system will see ur average in terms of KDA. But if you get like 30k hero damage and 7k tower damage the system will see u surpassed the average and in that match ull move up. But the less u die and better u do in every aspect will move u up.
