HUmmm, double forge + cold snap is probably better for newbie. My first game with invoker I've used this and I have a good memories.

Pretty sure I just did cold snap and forge or maybe sunstrike the first time I played invoker.

I usually advise invokers to keep their spells as simple as possible, like max cold snap and ghostwalk. Mannn I really don't like the tornado thing for some reason.
