Really good blog post that explains where he was coming form. Thing that stuck with me the most was the stress factor.
PPD could have avoided half of this if he didn't put out those douchey twitter posts
Well he is kind of douche though hence posts. Idk sounds like everyone being whiney on the internet but hey these are 20 year old kids basically like pro athletes only athletes have a ton of handlers so their whines don't go public.
". Ti4 eg I had the most fun I've ever had with a team and we honestly missed it. This year EG felt so corporate, even though we were friends we weren't REALLY friends."
does anyone else remember what happened after ti4 with eg? oh yes, mason was kicked EleGiggle 4Head
Obviously one sided from PPD's side, but taking that into account, it seems to make sense. RTZ did have a good TI, and if he and Sumail can get along in 1/2 roles it should work out just fine. They are still a really good team losing AUI and gaining RTZ, and that seems to be half the point. They are professionals trying to be the best.
The TLDR version:
"Aui was awesome and helped our team make a ton of money.
But we have more money than we need, and I have stress issues."
When they stop winning, he might change his mind.
