mb i failed to epxlain, but i passed several stages of selection (succesfully) and was told that i will be invited to interview in several days. after that the position was closed and they jsut didnt contact me, same as other ppl in similar circumstances.
mb it doesnt seem normal, but its the way it works, and different companies do like that sometimes.

No, the case you described is where a company doesn't respond at all, which I understand!
I was told by dotabuff they were looking at my application and someone WILL be in touch with me soon, that's something different!

At any rate dotabuff is a smaller more personal company than the aforementioned enterprises, I was just someone disappointed I didn't get a response.
I'll consider this all from my part to keep the thread on topic.
