Lol I saw one video on youtube, where he was flaming around telling teammate to kill himself.

That is so common in dota, if I had to count how many death threats I got (and maybe even gave out), I'd need 5 more hands to count them

I'm more interested in his gameplay, but being in the spotlight as a15 year old is gonna bring out the more negative side of his personality, and getting bashed like this by reddit (even though I absolutely hate reddit), must be hard

Personality matters a lot too, look at the most popular dota streamers, they're popularity is a result of their personality. Look at arteezy he has created a persona for himself, singsing etc etc

Personality is always a good thing for making friends, but if youre good, youre good. and that's why I think his team mates value him. Ofcourse, he may have some good personality to his teammates ,though not a generally peoples person.

If he had the best gameplay, and the shittiest personality, he will get picked on his personality, though if people didn't know his personality, they would admire his gameplay regardless. Perceptions are a weird thing, though as a young kid, I feel he is doing well handling what bad thing the world can throw at you.

I would probably be like that if I was that good and got raged on by others trying to prove themselves over me and bash me down every chance they get.

Its a cruel world sometimes, though we can see through that for the gems that exist! (im an EG fanboy) lol.

i saw his stream once, he was playing invoker and some other shit before that. Terrible player, you can see how he thinks and he's just fucking retarded, he can only win with op heroes/favorable heroes, etc. Favorable teamfights, etc completely linear approach to everything.

isn't there a vod of him intentionally feeding techies down mid from the off? regardless of your thoughts on the hero that is a spectacularly juvenile and dickish thing to do in a ranked match.

its not about creativity, its about playstyle, creativity and the approach to different scenarios! The guy just goes when its ez kill with ez hero ->storm/invoker disables. Does nothing and stalks with less ez possible kills. Doesn't make anything happen unless he can escape. No fake anything, doesn't force shit unless he feels safe, doesn't outplay with mouse movements, he plays standard dota which is not bad! its pub approach, you will just not win when it matters against better players because you dont force the scale your way. If they ignore when ghim when they have to, force him when they can and have the advantage, sumail won't be able to turn that around! Fear can, aui can, most pro players can, sumail can't because he's trash. He should be the opposite, i would praise him, he's supposed to be unstable because he's new! like soccer players. In my mind he's a tier 2/3 player that won't grow any better playing this way.

i mean, lets watch him today and analyze him later. I only watched him play 2 games yesterday! -> and as usual i was dissapointed. Though that lanaya game he did some good midgame but if you look closely that was because G and illidan fucked up, especially G, he looked like a pub tier 3 russian player or worse. As i was joking on the dotatv chat: You would expect empire to know how to play bs and go for blademail and bkb and shit since they are russians but nooooooooooo. Russians always find a way to troll, fuck up and lose unloseable (wors does not exist :D) games

Playing safe, picking off kills when it is ez and safe for him to do so?

It's not a fun game this is his career he needs to be as safe as possible, instead of going high risk high reward? At least that's what I'd think he'd do in pro games, farm, and come out to get kills when it's possible without risk of death?

its not high risk high reward im talking about here --> small risk small reward which is different. Do several of those and you tilt it in your favor the better you are. Put yourself in this situation -> EG has equal balanced picks as another team. The other team displayed some awesome teamplay once and put the game in their favor. Playing normally from that point on they would end up winning the game in 20 min. Fear can turn the game around but he is being controlled, the advantage came from neutralizing universe and supports are poor and underleveled. Will sumail do anything? he's the only one in the position to do so. There have been many of those instances. They have won regardless because people are afraid of EG. Remember that silencer vs lanaya game? Props to sumail for risking himself so many times mid and escaping. That won them the game, usually he doesnt. But imagine if fear that game needed the courier, that he was a jugger or smth instead of clinkz where he can be invis and just buy his shit from secret shop! sumail wouldve crippled the team and cost them the game. So then you realize he fucked up level 2. But he didnt think that far and was lucky fear gave him full control of the chicken and that empire did not push and that cyka did nothing all game and went for midas -> if he had went usual shit, even midas then usual shit that level 2 blunder wouldve cost them the game. He was lucky he got the FB and got a fast bottle he could spam with a move that would normally cripple his team --> see where im going with this? Normally that is a loss but empire didnt feel pressured to move and felt safe with midas and no mek no silencer because it was groupstage. If this was playoff they ouwld've rolled over them!

and risking in this case wouldve been -> not farm much, deal with the mid underfarmed. Notice he didnt die because the 2 supports roamed mid exactly when he was getting rekt. And also 1 empire support failed when he got his action/skill/movement disjointed by sumail going invis and did not click forward, hero moved backwards as the mechanics work normally. -> they are playing with 0 ms.

Sumail is the best carry in the pro scene at farming. It's just one aspect to the game but he does it in coordination with the right movements and knowing the momentum of the game. It doesn't matter what strat his team or the opponent is using, if they're up or down 45-13 and towers, even if he dies 6 times by minute 30.

He ends every game with highest/near highest net worth no matter the way the game went. That's why I respect him so much and I think people undervalue the composure that it takes to do that as your 1 position carry game in game out.
