when i was younger i played football in a club for 3-4 years but i lost interest in it and i wanted to quit. my dad paid for another year so i was forced to keep playing it even tho i didn't want to. i think this is the reason why i'm not into football anymore. i watch the "important" game sometimes and most of the national games
i dont rly enjoy watching dota either, but its way more entertaining than usual sports, at least beause it changes a lot every few months, and there are more variables(100+ heroes and lots of strats/interactions, while in usual sports its mostly grown men playing with balls)
obv playing the suual sports is entertaining but im extremely bad at every single one of them so i dont find that fun either))

i never played football competitively, i just played for fun with the boys cause pretty much every kid was into it
i did play tennis competitively tho for maybe 6-7 years until i got into highschool. i was pretty good at it but i wouldve never been able to compete at the highest levels because i missed the very early years of my life practicing it, while most good players had at lest 4+ more years of training
yea i also feel at times that i only play dota for virtual mm points, but most of the time i do it primarily because its fun for me
it is probably because ranked is pretty exhausting emotionally which is why i am thinking of just muting everyone and playing it as a singleplayer game
