why would you do that in ranked?
you were outpicked anyway, would have been hard to win that. maybe only with rat alche, but still hard. they got really nice picks. heal, disable, dmg burst, tankiness.
also min 9 bf isnt that good for alche. its not that hard getting a min 2-3 midas and min 8 bf. with 8k gold (2 aghs) i would have went for moon shard + deso and manta instead of basher and rat that shit.
I don't think getting an early aghs for the team is that great for a carry alch. He needs the items to continue raping the enemy, otherwise he falls off.
^this. he was your only hard carry, as doom with radi wasnt going to work, kunka/mira/lina getting rekt too. but he gets disabled and killed very ez, so rat would have been the optimal choice.

Buy no items, take greevil's greed lvl 1, snag both bounty runes, and then you can get a 2-3min midas "easy"
But generally unless your team is way ahead, you don't buy aghs for your teammates as Alch. It's just not effective because the thing that makes alch a hard carry is being more farmed than the other team. If he's equally farmed as most carries he gets shit on.
Well I was shocked when he got a bf in his possession by 9 mins (he probably had gold at 8 or 830). I've never seen a competent alch in my games, they still go jungle or try to play support and farm aghs first items.
But going aghs this game would've been extremely helpful since doom disables would now stop abadon's ult from activating and lifestealers health leech which basically wrecked us, 3 str carries vs naix, plus on lina she can now burst naix down through rage. Aghs was the counter to their team.
It would have been greedy of you to ask that of your alchemist. If he was your main carry, he needs items and damage. It seems like you had numerous chances to get aghs this game, but you chose to be greedy and not take it. You can't blame your alchemist for everything.
Alch should never get aghs for his teammates before at least gettinh 4-5 slotted himself. He can farm so much faster after that point and actually contribute to battle that way, if he just rushes aghs for all he will be useless for the first 50mins and even then hes already obsolete. He cant farm fast by himself even with passive unless he gets carried and gets freefarm forever lol. Alch is really about being greedy himself. Or go 4-4-1 and buy blink/sb and gank witg team, space created.
If you needed aghs on your doom....then YOU should have bought it instead of being ultra greedy and trying to get radiance for achieve. Don't complain about alch failing to farm you an item because you were greedy. Radiance is good against maybe SF that game?
you don't buy aghs for your team as alchemist until you are 6 slotted unless an aghanims is extremely important for some unique situation. and EVEN then, your alchemist should be at least 4 slotted before buying an aghanims for team.
also, 9m isn't even that spectacular if he rushed it. my last alchemist game I had Midas, Treads, AND Battlefury by 11 minutes.
