Very aggressive is how I like to play him. Max chains first and then flame guard, maybe one point into SOL early for the chain combo. Keep ganking once you hit lvl 7, get that BF at like 12 mins and you're set. if you want to take it to the late game, I like 2 BFs but that's just me.
I am assuming that is a smurf account, I am not calling you out or anything, but I am curious how that build does currently in VHS
Generally 2 points in chains, 1 point in fist and maxed flameguard.
He currently sucks and I don't recommend picking him.
You can try Maelstrom + Arcane boots for fun, it works for midgame.
120 for 1 point is pretty exceptional although i know why the extra leash from 3-4 is good cuz when you have guard no one can fight u anw so its practically a stun
and the 4th point in guard has a power spike for a period when the supports nuke are rank <4 so 2x nuke cant break it so its pretty good in some situations
i just feel like there are some games where 343 is optimal

he also advocates 1 point sleight to outplay storms in lane
Drum is core item on him he cant cast all of his skills at lvl 6 (3ulti) but drum gonna help you so much and since he probably wont get any tanky item ( maybe skadi only +45 min games ) you wil need it

lvl 3 has less dps, but more damage.
Sof level 4 is not a waste, level 2 and 3 are, but level 4 is spammable, and almost no1 can sustain that harrass.
a 2-4-0-1 build is decent, maxing the shield after it, but it's much much less farming way. Not really sure it's worth it unless you face 1v1 som1 that can burst your whole shield like np.
My biggest tip to ember is..Ult is key in every game. You either need to ult and move back in a team fight (while in slight of fist) Or they are really low and you use ult to catch and kill. Ember is so weak on hp and armor best defense is a good offense. Or just buy skadi
