I totally feel the same way. Valve is greedy and money grabbing.
What got me excited is the hype and the coming ti5 matches.
I think what they need to do is have like 200 different immortals , so it is impossible to get them all (unless you get thousands of levels)
This means the ones you do get will still be worth a lot in 6 months time, because they are still fairly rare, and people like to collect.
Maybe 200 is a but much, but 109? 1 for each hero sounds good
Valve was good with Dota2 players, giving updates, things like Diretide...
Now Diretide, New Year, Ti are just greddy ways to get money.
Last year i won 87€ on new year beast, this year i played it twice and get 2 shitty sets, that i cant sell or trade.
At least you got something. I leveled my compendium to ~70 and still haven't received most of my supposed rewards due to some bug.
No emotiocon pack, no effigy block, no portfolio of heroes.
Asked for help from Volvo, no response yet.
Supposedly there are more achievements (ways to level up) to be added so I wouldn't give up yet. Iirc last year not all the features were added when the compendium first went on sale either
Also level 1 here with no hope of ever getting much higher. I only received the first immortal treasure, but nothing else, so Im not really sure whats going on. So far the Compendium has been a waste tbh.
@Saturn, I dont think the next rewards will going to be much different to the atual ones, cuz a lot of ppl leveled it up and they will be angry if u can get the lvl without paying.
So valve to dont bother the fucking retards who waste tons of money, valve will ad 10 new rewards with 50xp every one and.. done.
Everyone buy it thinking they can level up and get rewards, cuz the games now can be watched on free sites muh better than ingame.
If there is no way to lvl it up they could say:
-u can buy this 3 shits for 9€
-U can bu these 19 shits for 50€
-U can buy these 40 shits for 500€
-U can donate us +1000€ to support the The International Championsip
I'm very frustrated about how Valve is treating people, like: there is going to be a lot of people buying shits, so lets make this shits more expensive and more shittier cuz they will buy it anyways.
Like CSGO (it's valve+ppl fault), they sell keys at 2,2€ to get shit that u can buy for 5 cents, and everybody sell these shits, so valve is geting even more money cuse they get the 15% on the market.
So u waste 2,20€ to sell it for 7 cents and valve get 3 of these cents 2,23€ for valve - 0,04€ for u. AND THE WORST THING IS PEOPLE WHO BUY 160 (or more) KEYS TO OPEN THIS FRAUD.

I thought: ok i never spended money on game that gave me more than 1000 hours of entertaiment, so i will give them my 9€ and get some rares and entertaiment leveling my compendium.
Yeah, im still lvl 1, there is no way to get it up without paying shit tons of money, i wont even get the third treasure. The only way to get lvl 250 is paying, YEAH, i don't want to be lvl 250 i just want be at least 50 without spend 27€.
If someone is thinking abot if its worth... NO, don't buy it!!
