It updates around every few hours...or days (in my experience). Just wait for it. It will eventually appear.
afaik it updates once a day, or mb even less often. there is a long delay in this section.

How often does it update? I played 3 games in a row with the same people, and all the games have been logged and are shown on my overview page and on the matches page and everywhere where they should appear. But on the "Friends this Week" section no one from these games is mentioned. Everyone of these guys also have enabled "Third party data sharing" so that their data appears on Dotabuff.
