We use whichever is higher for each player, and then take a team average from that.
Good question, we have teams all the way from 1k-5k MMR. No matter your team's MMR you will be placed against teams with similar MMRs.

First we allow roster sizes of up to ten players, so you can have backups on your roster to play with.
Additionally the schedule is always out at least four days before the match, so that gives you time to talk to your opponent and try and work out a different time.
