The API endpoint that we use to gather matches has been down for a few days. We're using another method to gather data but it's not as efficient. Not only does it have a longer delay between when your match ends and when we get it, but that delay is highly variable.
Normally Dotabuff should have your match within 1 minute of your match ending. The backup method we're using has a window of between 5 and 45 minutes. That can be even higher due to API downtime, which there's been a lot of within the last few days.
As the "The Dota 2 API is currently unavailable" message is automated and appears whenever there is any API trouble, it has been up constantly for the past few days.
We're keeping a close eye on the situation and are hoping that the normal (optimal) API endpoint comes back up soon. In the meantime, we're optimizing everything we can to get your matches in as fast as possible. Thanks for your patience with this, we're doing all we can :)
