Try and get the sceptre first, unless you're mid going blink bottle or mana boots will slow down the farm the sceptre can provide.

Either rush sceptre and farm extremely fast or get blink and go around killing. Don't farm blink first then keep farming pick one.

you have to stun, w8 a split second and then toss, it does more damage.

What about a yasha or maelstrom first? Cheaper than full aghs, nice farming items that turn into good items later in mjollnir or manta/s&y.
