if you took the best players from wen Dota 2 first came out and put them againsts todays best players it would be like watching 7k mmr team vs 2k mmr team >.< we all played dota 1 and we all sucked :D
the advantage is that you will pick things up faster than say, someone who only played cs

Well, the game play has changed a lot.
You need more games to understand the current meta.
well u got the advantage and knowledge from wc3 but things are different from game mechanics/ animations etc. to completely different gamestyle from dota 1 ..
watch some pro games practice with bots and try get used to this " new game "

the problem I had when I started dota 2 after dota 1 9 months ago , I couldn't make difference between heros & creeps@#@ , was stunning the creep instead of the hero , quick fingers are necessary too.
no , but once stunned a creep instead of giving my last hit to a fleeing hero . this month -_-
