To get to 1k mmr you need 40 wins more then losses. If you get there with your first account, you'll have quite a nice winrate.
On the other hand, if you get calibrated to 3500 and drop to 3000, then you'll have like 40% win rate.
If I was you, I'd stick with the high winrate account.

Hello don't know where the introducing threads go, but ive played Dota for about a year now and my main only calibrated at like 1k. After learning basics i decided id like to raise my MMR and eventually got to 2k, but got tired of all the ups and downs in my ranked games making it hard work to raise my mmr. So I decided to make a smurf and maybe get calibrated at 3-4k or wherever i belong within 13 levels instead of another year of Ranked.
Anyone on here that can teach me some things or help me out because after looking at some profiles a lot of you seem pretty experienced, I'd like to get good at this game so it's appreciated.
