Only if you are getting Basi and Tranquils. Even then, wards/courier/sufficient regen is more important most of the time. Sounds like a build you go if you have the random gold.

even if you use just one of the rings i think its still pretty good. ive seen ee only build one ring into something and leave the other one on its own, and then just sell the other one later, which is only a loss of 100g, still worth it. 300g for 6 armour, more than a chain mail

At 5 armour, 100 HP requires 130.0 physical damage.
At 8 armour, 100 HP requires 147.9 physical damage.

Assuming base 2 armour, first RoP adds 12 HP for every 100 HP you have. A 600 HP hero gets 72 extra HP as a result.
Assuming base 2 armour, second RoP adds another extra 18 HP for every 100 HP you have. A 600 HP hero gets 108 extra HP as a result.

Assuming you sell both eventually, you are paying 200 gold for 180 HP against physical attacks on a 600 HP hero, while making regen more efficient at the same time.

It is better than stout on ranged heroes.
I watched a NEL game recently with Rtz going agressive trilane with Storm. He bought 2 RoP and you can't really kill a storm with 11 armour early on.

I think it's really effective and strong in certain scenarios but it's such a strange thing to do. Though I don't watch many games of EE but when I often notice the casual RoP as a value item ;)

I watched waga do it on offlane pudge, did it myself, it seems amazing. Doesnt block as much as stout but the the basi later is just too guud

Dunno if other melee benefits from it more than stout shield though

Basi/tranquils gives you armour + mana/hp regen passively
Bottle gives you both mana and hp actively and encourages you to move on the map and make things happen (same idea as urn) and corresponds with the purpose of this hero.

2 RoP is good on someone like Visage but definately not Pudge.
