Ever study probability?
Its not that rare to get deviations less than 10% especially with such a small match pool. Anyway Radiant has the advantage of a better jungle and top down view which people insist provides a tiny edge. While Dire has Roshan advantage, most people don't know how to make use of it so it feels like Radiant is better :)
A couple months ago I was like 60% win rate dire, 40% win rate radiant. This month those are reversed. Life time I'm like 54% on radiant and 49% on dire. So over one month a 10, 20 even 30% change is not significant.
I actually like dire better if I am a jungler, a lot better. Accessing that 2nd medium camp is far easier so you can just rotate through those three at the start.
I'm 72% Radiant (43 games) and 60% Dire (55 games) this month. New patch has been good to me.
I think the non-Rosh map changes were more significant in pubs. The "juke paths" in the Dire offlane are more like gank paths, but the Radiant ones seem more effective.
Well, I can't say that I've studied probability, but surely this is at least somewhat statistically significant? Looking at my last six months, I have 47.23% on Dire and 54.10% on Radiant, and I've played a whole lot of games in that time. Is it not fair to say that this probably has something to do with the way I play being ever so slightly more effective on the Radiant side? Either way, I'm curious about what really distinguishes the two sides, as that's something I find a bit tricky to get to grips with and I don't really consider it when I play.
Google it, it's been commented on in a lot of blogs and the global win rate of dire is like 52% vs 48% so you're close to average of everyone.

So I had a look at the Scenario section of my profile, and I discovered the huge disparity in my win rate on the each side: In the last month, I have 48.08% on Dire and 58.75% on Radiant. The difference is not as large in my older statistics (presumably due to the map changes), but it's still there. What could be the reason for this? I'd really like to understand it, because it would probably tell me something valuable about me as a player.
