no they didnt, i still have my personalized colors on minimap, only runes camera dissapeard. prolly bug
or maybe they only disabled the setcamera command working in real games, just like they did with the range circle.
the range circle was removed from matchmaking ages ago, I have no idea what you're referring to if you're thinking of something else.
im talking about dota_range_display [number], which displays a ring around your hero, making offlaning and blinking much easier.
@dreemax, changing camera positions with keybinds will not be available in matchmaking if it is considered a cheat. it will still be usable in private lobbies if cheats are enabled a.k.a. setting sv_cheats to 1.

so basically, knowing that there's a console in the game which gives you access to extra settings is considered unequal to those that aren't aware of it (most games are not as open as source engine games), the inequality which is not due to skill on the player's part can therefore be considered cheating, although most people would associate the word "cheat" in gaming to involve third party programs i.e. hacks, but that isn't always the case.
advantages in games are generally acquired through skill (or should be). entering in a console command can hardly be considered skillful, probably why it and the blink / xp range circle were removed, the advantage it offered to those who knew about it was too big compared to those that didn't.
not my fault they cant google basic shit about video games on pc, spoonfeeding should always be looked down upon
with wave on this one. binding camera locations has always been a feature in SC2 and WC3. I see no reason why it shouldn't be in ARTS games.
one of the best things about rts games and what not is that everyone basically plays from a level playing field; rune binds are a super small thing but it kind of messes with it.
and i had rune binds set up so im not against them but valve probably feels that if only players have direct, valve-given access to them it gives them an advantage, same logic behind having a hotkey interface built-in vs wc3 requiring clients and what not
there are tons of players who don't use the console command and rightfully so cuz the game should be played without it. When the console gives additional functions not offered in game it is conferring an unfair advantage other players do not have.
And I don't use it.

remove the last coordinate

the position of the map has changed also, so using the old coordinates would put you too low - i already changed my coordinates to reflect this adjustment.
New Rune Bindings:

basically they have removed the z coordinate, delete the last set of no.s for top and bot ur camera would work again... took me long time to figure out too... lesson learnt.. read patch update CAREFULLY
