There is technically a surrender option which involves a synchronized dc from all 5 players.
Anyway, Volvo shouldnt add the surrender option, blame it on yourself for being a dickweed/playing in dickweed bracket where people think its fun to fountain camp for 10mins. Its a vicious cycle, sorry.. learn to deal with it.

I am hoping for the love of god that valve won't implement this shit. Yes stomps happen but for example i recently won a ranked match where i had no hope(all towers down and had only the base). So in fact comebacks may happen. Also if someone from you guys played LoL at some point you would know what means surrender. First tower down? surrender vote. Carry got ganked? omfg you guys suck surrender vote. Only the base standing? surrender vote. I could go on forever. Sure that some matches are completely lost(for the OP you can go hide in their jungle or something to avoid being killed) but that doesn't mean that if a match looks like it's lost you should abandon it.
Also imagine if the surrender vote would go wrong(example 2 are for 3 are against it) the ones that wanted to surrender will start doing stupid shit, feeding rapiers and whatnot.
Believe me that i have experienced this kind of shit in lol before i started playing dota.
yeah in lol, i even had the most ridiculous surrender of all time:
Enemy who stomped us did surrender, cause we hold two time the nexus (we didn't get out of the base from min 10 (yes min 10!!!, till the end, that is to say arround 45 min mark).
and once again, there's nothing to implement, the surrender is already in dota2, it's just made a way that retard cann't access/abuse it.

That doesn't work unless a player abandoned, doesn't matter from which team. If an entire team disconnects, the game will wait for the first guy to get an abandon and will end 30 seconds after that abandon.
