Aha, sweet. Sounds like it will be opt-in only then. That's a good middle ground because some people really don't want to show their MMR.

What's this?
It says "rift" on the name of the pic... Dark Rift?
^
It is a CGI concept of a star being pulled into a black hole (neutron star / singularity, w/e ).
Hopefully their are some requirements besides mmr for placement on the leaderboards to keep smurfs accounts and exploiters/abusers off of it. Something like a minimum 250 ranked games played perhaps?
@Concede
Valve is actively working on shutting down exploiters/abusers.
As you can see some of them already started crying.
well, I would certainly be amazed* if a valve employee "resolved that issue" within 4 hours of Wave posting that thread, let alone if they did it between 7p.m. to 11p.m.
That would be some quality service.
I could see it just be a bug though. Regardless it was certainly enough for Wave to break out the formating and videos. Must have been scary!
@Concede
I know what the pic is
What I meant to say was, Cyborgmatt always post some pic with a "Predictions for the next hero" label
He posted that, so I was asking if anyone can relate the img with something about the heroes remaining to be ported
