what is "force 40%"

I had to intentionally about 52 games out of 100 games in order to get a 40% win rate on my Low Priority alt...

Ive lost way more to get such rating. Mostly playin very bad and feed. I should have now total shit MMR, yet im stuck vs 4k ppl WTF ?

This topic makes me feel as my account in the opposite every time i'm close to the 54% wr I get a bad losing streak and got down to 53%. I feel games are way harder for some reason but my mmr don't change that much.

That's the forced winrate that everyone is talking about. 40-60% unless you deviate from the average skill pool excessively.

But honestly, even in Dota 1 where people could join public bots without evening teams which allowed for severe stacks, every time I tried to lose intentionally, I would win more often. The lowest account I got was like 660 ELO to whoever knows what that is, and that was extremely difficult to get. Average ELO was 900-950, baseline/starting point being 1000, and maximum gains/loss of 32/32.

I think half of it has to do with the "don't care mentality". For me, when I feel under pressure, I don't do as well. When I don't care, I seem to do better - in certain scenarios.
The other half... luck/bad luck.

I'm used to using proper punctuation but not proper grammar on forums. I don't see the point in putting conscious effort into something like dotabuff without good reason.

On which account you have that "forced 40% winrate" at 4k mmr? Because I'm pretty sure you can't play ranked on this account yet.

Edit: oh, the reason why you're matched with 4k players is because some low mmr player is stacking with 4k players.
