slark feeding with his teammates to the point where ursa+Io can fountain camp without ursa losing any hp.
This is called abuse if it was done in a netcafe and was premade, right? Also, why does Relentless participates in this game? Because if he is doing this on purpose with some friends of his, he would really lose much of the respect he has gained with his posts over time..
lol he didn't do anything he doesn't even have assists. and this gave to his stats nothing.
As I guess. druid treant and beastmaster were playing 3vs1 slark, while Io+ Ursa were farming fountain quartet. Simple as that.
The ranking for tmm is taken from each player's individual rating and then it takes an average of some sort over the team. This is why you can be the number one team with just 3 games played.
His mmr is really high since he almost always seem to 5 stack and picks cheesy lineups. With the right lineup and coordination you can beat a lot better players than yourself if you do that.
It always does and it always will set me free from giving value to people who don't deserve it and becoming wiser as well...
I was observing that game and if I remember correctly slark refused to leave and took leavers gold and was trying to kill shit so ursa, wisp camped the fountain to keep him in.
Also not a premade just a group of players that play together as they group up with 5-9 different players. http://dotabuff.com/matches/299682838
As far as "value". Chris is top notch carry and relentless a fantastic support and knowledgeable player so I don't know where you are doubting either. Its also a matter defining what is a stack and what is a group of 5-9 friends that are frequently playing together.
I never talked or cared about Chris, my only interest was Relentless. It would just have made me (and others as well) very sad to see someone who tries to keep this game pure and clean while helping and advicing other people at the same time, to abuse a dota 2 game in any way, that's all. Besides, if you noticed this thread was made to learn more about Penguin (ranked number 1 Skywrath) and Chris's game was only a subquery here. Anyway, if i was ranked as n1 ursa i definitely wouldn't like on my records my most kills-game to be such a "cheap" and meaningless game, but that's just me i guess. :)
P.s: Dotabuff is searching for a community manager and i think Relent fits perfectly for this job so go for it if that's what you want dude.
ice played with chrizz before he's rly good
kryztal is just avg good (and by good i mean very good)
and i don't remember any hauntedpenguin from dotalicious...
and if he was an admin then he definitely sucks (we could we talking about emmeran though... that might be his nick... i met him once at least with the volvo mm and he flaed me the whole time wuahahhah... banned like 5 of my acc :P but i had around 8 lololo FUCK YOU EMMERAN!)
@Benao i don't know why you don't remember hauntedpenguin but he had reached decent elo, 1800 and back then in 2011-early 2012 2000 was the top, was stable at it and good player from the few games that i faced him in dlg. You know what they say some times, right? Karma is a bitch and guess what. 4 days ago ( http://dotabuff.com/matches/300798637 ) i won CpCracker who was a decent player but a bad admin and with childish manners as well. The irony is that he banned me in a game that i had Skywrath and that made me transcend to dota 2 and find my "peace", eventually. I am though, definitely sure that this guy (Penguin) learned this Skywrath from a very close friend of mine who was flawless at this hero and played him mid only. So, Penguin after a lot of practice perfected this hero in terms of coordination with other heroes and this is the end. ;P
Keep in mind a lot of the people you see in the top got there by abusing. While he is a good player no doubt, him and a lot of the people he stacks with abandon games regularly to see things go their way. This is not to say that all of them were unjust but lets put it this way....
I have 3000 games and 6 pages of no stat games with is about 120 = 4% no stats
Relentless has about 1700 and 6 pages of no stats recorded which is about 120 = 7% no stats
He has 2000 and has 29 pages of no stat games which is about 580 = 28% no stats
The people he stacks with....
ChriZZ~.~ = 17% no stats
SponGeboZZ! (◣_◢) = 30% no stats
And my personal favorite http://dotabuff.com/players/143020839 with a 53% abandon rate.
Not to say any of these aren't really good players but there is no excuse for that many abandons or no stats recorded. Its just tryharding with strats, or picks, or level checking and if it goes bad then abandon just to ensure your stats stay clean. I would venture to say that while noobs are the plague of the lower downs, this is the plague of the upper brackets along with smurfs with people forgetting this is actually a game and aesthetic numbers and skill mean nothing if you are warping the way stats are represented.
IMO: They are still very good players but they do try and bend or abuse the way they can win a game which in itself defeats part of the purpose of being a good player.
@Mr Badger what an amazing post and i won't add anything else since it expresses and completes me in every angle as a dota player (and not an inexperienced one) and i want everybody to see it and keep it somewhere deep down in their minds.
By the way, why dotabuff stopped counting abandoned games in the overall wins and loses? It has to do anything with this API thing and Valve? As far as i'm concerner, when a game says it's free to leave ONLY it means that stats are being recorded.
Havoc keep in mind that tournament games and Dota 2 events (like Diretide/Frostivus) are included in those games.
There was a comment released by Jason (one of the devs I believe) that they would be rolling out a patch that over time would start accounting for some of the loss dodging and it will catch up with a few people over time so it will stand in peoples best interest not to dodge.
Dodging will now count as a loss on your stats is what I gathered from it, unsure until I can find the post he made.
That is a really good point kärkkilainen and having forgot to check that, it drops some of the percentage quite a bit. High abandons on new accounts doesn't however count and you can still see a lot of ursa/wisp dodging.
Is it that difficult to include a search tool inside the forums..? o,o Anyway, strain no more Havoc you've already pretty much covered most of the flaws in players's behavior towards their stats in just a few posts. Hopefully more people will become aware of this low attitude..
Its annoying but what more can you do, some people just want to win no matter what. At what point did this game become a chore over a game to where people will go great lengths and expenditures of time to ensure a win.
There are flaws all over the system with Valve being iffy, people abusing, smurfing etc. Its an imperfect system that is made worse by both the community and the people trying to fix it. The only thing to do now is to treat dota2 as it was originally meant to be, a game.
Jason a day ago
A regression in our systems recently caused this to be easier than it used to be - my fault, sorry for that.
I've just deployed a new change that will make it significantly more difficult to pull off.
To clarify, due to the nature of the share match history setting, players will always be able to inflate wins in the short term - there's nothing we can do about that. We can however make sure that their losses do eventually show up - even if a week later.
Are you looking for this?
I would just like to say about that game that I was happy to help my friend set a personal record. Slark stayed and tried to win the game. Others stayed for a little while and tried to fight in the fountain. I think my tree is pretty good...and Chris is the #1 ranked pub ursa in the world, but the reason that ursa-wisp is better than the abusers, dodgers, and smurf stackers is the Kidades is just awesome at wisp. He is not the best I have every seen but certainly the best I have played with. He makes playing with wisp seem easy, moves like he knows what you are thinking. It's great.
Also kärkkilainen explained how the tMMR works very well. I am fairly certain that a number of the pro teams who were at TI3 would have well over 6,000 tMMR, but they don't bother to do team matching games so we can't see it.
cpCracker or smth sucked balls... banned me a few times too.. he was mostly only sl2 though
I honestly believe even normal bracket players like me can own this top ranked fake players anyday.
are you THE SKY?
THE SKY THAT PLAYS IN UEBELST?
LOOOL IM SUCH A FAN OF YOU OP
Just played against this guy in my last game. Without his stack/anal friend wisp he is nothing more than an average player in very high.
@briswinter-
winrate doesnt mean anything. i was stacking with moondragon guy once and he was below average. he achieved %90 winrate because he was playing with jrb. now this moondragon is #1 aka aceaceace.
@NoVa Amoment-
Amomentforever i recall playing a game with you where you had sf and it was such a fun game, dude. And finally you enabled the sharing of statistics as you should, 55% is not something that you need to hide. ;D By the way, i am neither Sky who plays in Uebelst nor a fanboy. I just use this nick because of one of my favorite heroes, Skywrath. The guy you are refering to is this: http://dotabuff.com/players/85197023 .
@SmallStepsCorrupt
I approve of your Doom versus his Magina but still everyone has bad games and good ones. Don't forget that he still remains n1 Skywrath till now and that is his strongest win percent hero.
@123baba123
Of course winrate means something but not everything. Apart from that, who gives a shit about a guy with 201 games and 91,63% percent? http://dotabuff.com/players/131228375
No offense but i only admire someone like this guy who has at least 1k+ games and a high win percent: http://dotabuff.com/players/43908335 That's not luck, that is skill..!
"not good at all" says the bulgarian shitter who couldn't reach a potential high winrate while smurfing
depressing
''smurfing''
theyre actaully kinda awful and i suspect you are awful too, random trash that needs to confirm his own skill by 5stacking shitpubs on smurfs
if theyre your friends OR youre one of them have fun losing every fucking scrim u play u retard
lol http://puu.sh/4p3Gk.jpg your little idols getting crushed by ''bulgarian shitter'' stack so fucking easily
awful
I'm tired of all these stacking trashes think they are good just because they have high winrate. You guys suck so hard that you can't even win alone.
^ What?
Dota is a team game and being able to play create/join/operate/maintain a stack is one of the most important thing in high level Dota. Btw I don't play in stacks, and I never wanted to be a high skilled player.
The problem with kämi is not his stacking or his skills. It is his rudeness/attitude in forums and system-abuse in game.
I never said they shouldn't stack. They can if they want. But their attitude thinking they are so good just makes me sick.
Exactly. There is "stacking" and "tryharding". Aslong as you don't pick tryhard heroes it's fine to stack even as 5.
Just watching and laughing :D.
@Kikoni:
1. Who are you anyway?
2. Proud that you closely won a scrim (a game where you can try new things) against my "team" :D
I played with 3 reallife mates in that game and you nearly managed to loose, gz.
3. Dont waste your time on stupid forums like this and get a better player when you think that it is that important.
Btw. i wasn't an dotalicious admin. My name was MaD(^_-)SkillZ! on dotalicious and i had nothing to do with the superbad admin staff from DLG.
Byee <3
i don't really think it's important, i know you gusy aren't bad at all skill wise or anything but some random guy attacks me for saying that i don't think you're good from my experience versus you
w.e
sorry and thanks for being mature about this
Por favor, se conecte para postar comentários.
His name is *Lovely_PenGuin'(^_-)<3 - http://dotabuff.com/players/71401821 and here is what's the odd thing about this player and also why i "care" about him so much. First of all, i admire him because he has 93% win percent with Skywrath Mage who happens to be a beloved hero for me. ^_^ I suspect him to be an admin named hauntedpenguin, from dotalicious, but i can't be sure if someone else doesn't confirm my speculation as well.
Now the odd part, he participates in 3 out of the currently top 5 ranked teams in dotabuff:
1)top 1: http://dotabuff.com/teams/750909
2)top 2: http://dotabuff.com/teams/721975
3)top 5: http://dotabuff.com/teams/492342
a)So, how exactly is the ranking of each team created? Why a team with only 3 wins is ranked 1st?
b)Also, Relentless can you please explain what happened in this game ( http://dotabuff.com/matches/255732649 )?
