what op needs is a drow with frost arrows generating illusions every hit and 3rd skill replaced with pl's dopple and drow's ulti changed to juxtapose AND phantom edge, (so they become JUXTA-EDGE???!!) with the +40 agi bonus, together with the double when you're 600 range away from enemy heroes.

Just remove the illusions completely, why not.
Srsly, phantom is absolutely useless before 35-45 minutes, especially if you deny him right. It`s not that hard to finish a game in 30 minutes
Pick enchant sd or morphling, make illusion of pl, and profit, you now have pl in your team !
You can also try out the multi cleave team. And countrary to what has been wrote earlier, tiny is much better than sven to counter pl (sven just cann't clean illusion fast enough without ult) and tiny has cragy exterior + some range + bigger aoe for cleave. But anyway, none of them are good enough, since pl can simply push 2 lane in the same time, while neither tiny nor sven can be in two lane at same time.
So yeah:
Best is steal his illusion, and return them against him + get some splash damage like tiny or medusa divine.
Second best is steal his illusion.
And last but not least best way is: don't try late game against him.
With nukers like lion or lina you wipe the floor with lancer in the first 25 min of the game. Also Eartshaker is a very good counter against lancer.
Hint: use dust

look, Medusa first of all, no need to explain, then Sven, Tiny (with aghs), Mag, Sand king, Warlock ofc, SD, Morph to an extent, void, if farmed well, and know which guy is his target, there r some others but these r wut i thought of till now..

I am sure he must be nerfed. In fact he can be countered in some ways (gyro with huge damage, or sven with bkb, or simply doom, or other disable), but in any case he is so so so strong carry.
^there are a lot more heroes which can make him struggle a lot. BH getting track off can effect PL's ability to get into the fight, and allows mass illusion clearing heroes such as sven/kunkka/gyro/medusa or anyone with a battlefury to clear past the illusion army, as well as making him require quite a significant advantage to fight some single target heroes face on. This is before you even consider how useful track is when trying to gank PL earlier on in the game.
In general heroes like Sven and Gyro are going to fucking rape a PL once they reach a certain amount of farm, even with heart/evasion PL doesn't stand a chance.

make it so the illusions give gold and exp based on the level of pl, something like
level 1 = 5 gold and + 5 gold every 2 levels so a level 25 illusion gives 60 gold each and also make it so if the illusion dies, phantom lancer loses 5% of his maximum health but cant die from it. Also make it so his illusions cannot make their own illusions.
